We are taking up this epic challenge in a late ’08 MINI Cooper S JCW. For those of you wondering, the JCW stands for John Cooper Works and means that the car is heavily modified at the factory – 211BHP, ferocious twin scroll turbocharger, full sports exhaust, uprated suspension and brakes and it sits on a set of Momo sports wheels. Many times has it surprised drivers of ‘fast’ cars with its performance, which is precisely what makes it the perfect vehicle for the Cannonball.
